MICAT Begins Annual Media Registration For 2017

MONROVIA, January 9 (LINA) - The Communication Bureau at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) has announced the start of the annual regulatory registration permit process for 2017. The Ministry in statement issued Monday under the signature of Ms. Agatha Thomson indicated that the process begins on Tuesday, January 10, and ends on March 10.

MONROVIA, January 9 (LINA) – The Liberia News Agency (LINA) and the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Monday signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” intended to enhance cooperation between the two West African news agencies. According to the MOU, the agencies will, through their respective mediums, circulate the newscasts of each other as well as assist with training and logistics in areas of need.
