Ebola Update

MONROVIA, December 31 (LINA) - More than 50 motorcyclists in Monrovia and its environs have been trained to join government in spreading Ebola prevention messages.
According to the Project Officer of the Angie Brooks International Center (ABIC), Hilary K. D. Gbegeah, motorcyclists are essential partners and can play a key role in eradicating Ebola from Liberia.

MONROVIA, December 30 (LINA)-The County Health Officer (CHO) of Grand Cape Mount County, Dr. Lorraine C. Cooper, has expressed optimism that the newly constructed Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in Sinje is a path to glory and will ease the spread of the virus among residents of the county.

BOPOLU, Gbarpolu County, December 30 (LINA) – One hundred and forty medical and non-medical personnel recently recruited by Boyasay Shelloet, an international Non-Governmental Organization, havecommenced a four-day training in ETU operation at the Bopolu City Hall.

MONROVIA, December 30 (LINA) - The Speaker of the Mano River Union Youth Parliament (MRUYP), Melvin Saah, has disclosed that his organization is expected to receive a US$142,000.00 grant for Ebola sensitization in Gbarpolu and Sinoe Counties from December 2014 to April 2015.
