MONROVIA, August 14(LINA) -The President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate, Gbehzohngar M. Findley, says he will proffer a Bill to compensate the families of health workers who lost their lives to Ebola while in service to the country.

MONROVIA, August 14 (LINA) -The National Elections Commission (NEC) has officially written the House of Representatives recommending the temporary suspension of the Mid-term Senatorial Election from October to December 2014, due to the outbreak of the Ebola disease in the country.

MONROVIA, August 14 (LINA) – The Liberian Senate has concurred with the House of Representatives on the US$20 million emergency funding to combat the deadly Ebola virus in the country. The Senators, however, want County Legislative Caucuses to be represented on the Taskforce that will account for expenditure of the emergency funding.
