According to the Liberia News Agency (LINA), this was disclosed by the Director of the Community Department of the CHT, John Kallon, in an interview in Sinje Town, Garwula District on Friday.
He said the supplies were part of the donation made by the Chinese Government to the Liberian Government to help intensify the fight against the spread of the Ebola in the country.
The consignment was presented to the CHT by Abraham Washington, the Supply Chain Officer at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare at the CHT office in Sinje.
Mr. Kallon said the items include disposal medical protective clothing, disposable medical rubber examination gloves, sterilization rubber surgical gloves, medical protective masks, protective glasses, protective boots, disposable medical operation caps, and disposal non-woven product sheets.
Others are health shoes slip type, shoe covers, medical waste collector, skincare foaming hand sterilizers and chlorine dioxide disinfectant, among others.
Receiving the items, Mr.Kallon expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Health for the gesture, and assured that the items will be used in the fight against the Ebola disease.
Kallon has, meanwhile, commended health workers in the area for returning to work following the outbreak of the disease in the county.
