She said unless citizens develop a way of life that fosters existing sensitization and awareness intended to contain the virus, it will continue to ruin the country limited population.

She said practices like traditional and religious rituals on dead bodies, handshaking, hugging and body contacts with the ill are some of the things that must be avoided for success in the Ebola fight.

Addressing citizens during the weekend when she donated buckets and disinfectants, Senator Taylor urged the recipients to make proper use of the materials, noting, “We are in a critical period that requires the involvement of all well-meaning persons who have their people and nation at heart”.

In a related development, the Bong County Health Team (CHT) Friday reported the continuance of deaths in the county as a result of Ebola and other cases, with the lack of vehicle hampering the work of the contact tracing team.

Updating the County Ebola taskforce, the CHT also disclosed the burial of three of the four bodies the burial team needed to dispose of on Thursday due to a breakdown of the only vehicle rented by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Meanwhile, the CHT has lauded the World Food Program for supplying it with 192 bags of 25kg rice, 29 bags of beans, a quantity of oil for use in quarantine homes and communities.
