VOINJAMA, August 25 (LINA) -Ten persons who survived the deadly Ebola virus in Lofa County were recently reunited with their families and communities, a health official has disclosed.

The Lofa County Ebola Surveillance Officer, Tamba S. Alpha, said among the 10 survivors, seven were positive Ebola patients who successfully underwent early supportive treatment, while three were suspected cases.

Meanwhile, Alpha has disclosed that 20 more persons who were first treated and proved negative will be release later from the treatment center and reunited with their family members and communities.

He, however, said the tracing team will continue their daily monitoring of these 20 persons because there are possibilities that they could still come down with some of the symptoms while undergoing their 21 days surveillance.
