The individuals, including three females from Guinea and two males from the Soul Clinic Community in Monrovia, are being monitored for 21 days to establish whether they are Ebola free or not, according to Ebola Task Force Chairman Allen Gbowee.
Meanwhile, Gbowee, who recently visited the provincial mining town of Wiaman, has admonished citizens and residents of the area to report to the authorities the movement of strange people in their area.
Chairman Gbowee and team also conducted an Ebola awareness campaign in the town to show how the deadly virus can be prevented, and later distributed several assorted items, including buckets, soap and chlorine to the citizens.
He also called on the residents to report to the health authorities anyone showing signs and symptoms of the Ebola virus for the timely intervention of the Task Force.
The owner of the mining camp, Mr. Jungle James, expressed gratitude to the Ebola Task Force for the visit and confessed that he initially doubted the existence of Ebola but was now convinced that the disease is real.
The team included representatives from UNMIL, Liberia National Police and health practitioners.
