MONROVIA August 30 (LINA) - Deputy Information Minister for Administration, Norris Tweh, has said Liberia will defeat the Ebola disease if Liberians adopt a collective approach by assisting the government in the battle.

He said given the danger the disease poses to Liberia the government alone cannot eradicate it, noting that the fight can only be won if every Liberian and business entity in the country helps in the process.
Minister Tweh made the statement Friday in the conference hall of the Ministry of Information when he received a donation of US$15,000 on behalf of the National Ebola Task Force from Tietto Minerals Liberia Limited.
Tietto Minerals is an Australian company mining gold, coal and diamond in the country.
Tweh observed that unnecessary criticism will not move the country forward, saying collective actions and positive ideas are necessary in the country’s current struggle to eradicate the virus from the land.
The Deputy Information Minister has, meanwhile, lauded the efforts of Liberians and business entities that have so far assisted government to combat the Ebola disease, adding, “Every contribution you make is important and will be used to save the lives of Liberians.”
