Commissioner Tarpeh said five communities have registered Ebola cases in Tubmanburg, which is situated within the Senjeh District.
Addressing a press conference Friday in Tubmanburg, Commissioner Tarpeh said out of the 89 cases reported in the county, Senjeh District has recorded 90 percent of these cases.
He was, however, optimistic that with the house-to-house sensitization campaign being carried out by the County Ebola Task Force, the virus will be eradicated from the district and the county as a whole.
Commissioner Tarpeh said 19 community leaders have been selected in five communities in Tubmanburg, the provincial capital of Bomi County, to carry out the Ebola prevention awareness campaign.
Meanwhile, according to Commissioner Tarpeh, the County Task Force has established a Social Mobilization Team, including social workers, to help disseminate Ebola prevention messages in the district.
