HARPER, September 14 (LINA) -The Maryland County Health Team has begun distributing medical equipment and drugs to health institutions across the county.

The equipment, which includes personal protective materials, is part of the consignment recently donated by the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

Disclosing this recently during an Ebola Task Force meeting held in the capital Harper, the acting CHT head Nyan Keagon, said the supplies were recently dispatched to the county from the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

Mr. Keagon, who is a Pharmacist at the J.J. Dossen Hospital in Harper, further disclosed that health workers had already been deployed to the various health facilities around the county to render medical services to patients with other ailments since there has not been any outbreak of Ebola in the county.
