Commissioner Anthony Kamara disclosed that there are more than 45 crossing points between Lofa (Liberia), Guinea and Sierra Leone, and that these border points cannot be manned by only officers of the national security agencies.
“It also needs the full participation of the citizens and community dwellers if the county must succeed in the fight against Ebola,” Commissioner Kamara told the Liberia News Agency in an interview in Voinjama Tuesday.
Meanwhile Commissioner Kamara has admonished community members to report to the police any strange movements of people wanting to illegally enter Lofa County.
He has thanked the security agencies assigned in Lofa for their cooperation with the citizens, which, he noted, has reduced the crime rate in the county.
