Greg Ramm gave the assurance over the weekend when his institution dedicated the first Community Care Center (CCC) in Dolo’s Town, Lower Margibi County, valued at US$100,000.
Dolo’s Town was one of the areas hardest-hit by Ebola in Margibi County, leading to the town being quarantined by the Liberian Government to contain further spread of the disease.
He said the 30-bed center will be manned by both local and international staff trained by Save the Children International.
He noted that all confirmed cases from the center will be transferred to the Ebola Treatment Unit in Kakata.
In remarks at the dedication ceremony, Margibi County Superintendent John Buway commended Save the Children for building a care center in Dolo’s Town, noting, “It will help save the lives of children and their parents.”
