GBARNGA, November 24 (LINA) – The local office of the Ministry of Public Works in Bong County has distributed 122 hygiene promotion kits to residents of Taylor Town in Yelequelleh District in Bong County.

Taylor Town was heavily-hit recently by the Ebola virus.

The Ministry’s County WASH Coordinator, T. Maxwell Ricks, told the Liberia News Agency that the kits are part of 4,123 donated to the Liberian Government by UNICEF for distribution to households in Ebola-affected communities in the county.

“The kits contain Ebola prevention materials and will be distributed to over 22 communities devastated by the Ebola virus,” Ricks said.

Each kit contains two hand washing buckets, two jerry cans, three bottles Clorox, three bottles water guard, 12 pieces hand washing soap, two pairs of heavy duty gloves and several copies of hand washing procedural flyers.
