ROBERTSPORT, December 9 (LINA) – The Center for Liberian Assistance (CLA), Grand Cape Mount County branch, a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has trained over twenty women and girls in Ebola sensitization and prevention.

CLA Project Manager Madame Phascia Chambers said the trainees will be deployed in cities, villages and towns in the county to sensitize the people about the danger the Ebola virus poses and its prevention.

Chambers said Ebola can only be kicked out of the county when the citizens are prepared to join collective and collaborative efforts in tackling the disease.

She pointed out that the fight against the spread of the disease should not be the responsibility of government alone, but every Liberian.

Chambers urged participants of the workshop to take the training seriously as it will go a long way in helping the county authority and
national government to contain the further spread of the disease.
