VOINJAMA, December 12 (LINA)-The World Health Organization (WHO) assigned Doctor in Lofa County, Dr. Clement Peter, is appealing to national and international organizations helping to fight the Ebola virus in Liberia to provide support for Community Based Organizations in the county.

Doctor Peter said Community Based Organizations are deeply involved in creating Ebola sensitization and awareness but lack adequate support.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Dr. Peter made the appeal at an Ebola coordination meeting held in Voinjama.

He noted that if these CBOs are supported, Ebola awareness will reach every nook and corner of Lofa County, and stop the further spread of the disease and completely eradicate it.
