According to the Liaison Officer of CHAP, Aaron Paul, 100 reflector jackets and 100 bottles of hand sanitizers were donated to the motorcyclists to protect they and their riders against the Ebola virus.
Making the donation in Wroto Town in the Monrovia suburb of Sinkor, Paul cautioned the motorcyclists to continue to adhere to the preventive measures outlined by health authorities to prevent the spread of the virus and also sensitize their riders to take precaution against the deadly disease.
He said motorcyclists should remain vigilant to buttress government‘s effort in eradicating the Ebola virus from Liberia until the World Health Organization (WHO) declares Liberia an Ebola-free nation.
Receiving the items, the Financial Secretary of the Motorcyclists Union, Melvin Tarpeh, expressed gratitude to CHAP International for the donation, and assured that the materials would be used for the intended purpose.
