Red Cross Donates To Four Ebola Survivors

ROBERTSPORT, December 15 (LINA) –The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Grand Cape Mount County chapter over the weekend donated several assorted relief items to four Ebola survivors in three districts in the county.

According to the Liberia News Agency Grand Cape Mount County correspondent, the separate donations were made by the society’s Field Officer, Konah Paul in Commonwealth, Tewor and Porkpa districts.

The four survivors, Hadji Kemokai, Lisa Cooper, Lamie Massaley and Morris Kallon received six buckets, five mattresses, one set of cooking utensils, ten mats, several plates, spoons, and heavy duty gloves, five cartons Clorox and detergent soap, among others.

Madame Paul said besides the relief items, the Liberia National Red Cross Society also gave them survival kits to meet their food needs.

Meanwhile, according to Madame Paul her chapter has provided training for 26 caregivers catering to quarantined people in contact tracing and social mobilization.
