Superintendent Dunor noted that although the Ebola situation in the county is gradually declining, the need for everyone to continue to follow preventive measures to avoid a new outbreak should be the concern of everyone.
He told the Liberia News Agency in Voinjama over the weekend that traditional and religious leaders, women and youth organizations must constantly carry out the Ebola awareness campaign aimed at eradicating the virus from the county.
Supt. Dunor said the reduction in the number of Ebola cases has brought hope to the people of Lofa and citizens of the county should not jeopardize such gains by being complacent.
He observed that some individuals are still misleading the public on the Ebola situation and called on them to desist because his administration will not tolerate anyone who attempts to create problems that will divert government’s attention from the fight against Ebola.
He commended the government through the Health Ministry and its partners for their support and role in the Ebola situation.

VOINJAMA, January 12 (LINA) - Lofa County Superintendent George Dunor has said the battle against another Ebola outbreak in Lofa must get the collective efforts of all citizens and not only government and its partners as was the case during the first outbreak.
