The Chairman of Grand Gedeh County Ebola Taskforce in collaboration with Superintendent Peter Solo has begun donating Ebola preventive materials to schools in the county.

The distribution exercise began on Tuesday with 14 schools within the Zwedru school system benefiting from the gesture.

Speaking in an interview with the Liberia News Agency, the Taskforce Focal Person Morris Wesseh said all public and private schools in the county will benefit from the donation as per its plans.

Wesseh said the distribution will continue throughout all four Education Districts of the county following completion of the first phase in Zwedru.

He said all 162 schools in the county, including public, private and faith-based ones, will receive assorted Ebola preventive materials such as buckets with faucets, Clorox, detergents, flyers and T-shirts for school administrators.
