workshop more than 80 government prosecutors in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County from around the Country.
The training is a regular refresher for government prosecutors to share their experiences over the past term of court as they prepare for the next term of court and is under the Theme: “Proof beyond Reasonable Doubt –The Standard for Criminal Conviction”.
During the regular quarterly training workshop, government lawyers from all over the country meet in one county where facilitators from government, US Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics Law Enforcement, and other international partners share new skills.
Topics at the Buchanan Workshop will include county attorney reports, taxation, drawing an indictment, indictment writing, remedial processes, appeal process and drafting an appellate brief amongst others.
