VOINJAMA, Jan 6 (LINA) -Marketers in Voinjama District, Lofa County have commended Representative Mayamu Fofana for her contributions to market development projects in the district.

Market Superintendent Madam Esther Woiwor cited the recent donation of 50 bags of cement and other construction materials to renovate the Voinjama Central Market Warehouse, as part of her effort to promote development in the district.

The Voinjama Central Market Warehouse was constructed in the late 1980s to store goods belonging to marketers, but was destroyed during the Liberian civil conflict.

Speaking in an interview with the Liberia News Agency over the weekend in Voinjama, Madam Woiwor described Representative Fofana as “a true daughter of the district”, and one of several Lofa County lawmakers who are fulfilling their campaign promises to their people.

Meanwhile, Madam Woiwor is urging prominent citizens of Lofa County residing outside of the county to contribute towards the reconstruction of the county.
