Bassa Citizens In Americas Eye Clinic For Desoe Town

BUCHANAN Feb 23 (LINA) - The Grand Bassa County Association in the Americas (GBCAA), has pledged to construct a medical clinic in Desoe Town in District #3, Grand Bassa County.
Disclosing this to the Liberia News Agency on during the week, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GBCAA, Dr. Zachariah Gaye, said Desoe Town was selected to benefit from the clinic as a result of lot casting.
He said three nurses who will be graduating soon have agreed in principle to take up assignment at the health center.
Dr. Gaye said funding for the project will come from dues paid by members of the association and monies collected from fundraising programs.
He clarified that the Desoe clinic project has nothing to do with his or any member of the association’s ambition to contest elections, saying they were undertaking the project for the love of their county.
Grand Bassa County Association in the Americas was established in the U.S. to help bring development to Grand Bassa County, after a devastating civil conflict that destroyed the fabrics of the Liberian society.
