Judge Johnson also urged young people not to think negatively, but to always think positively in order to move their lives forward.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Judge Johnson made the call last Saturday when she presented a trophy to Quadou Gboni Chiefdom as winners of the two-day soccer tournament organized by the Alumni Association of the Voinjama Multilateral High School.

The Criminal Court “E” Judge presented the trophy in honour of her late father, Mr. Milton Soko Clinton, who hailed from Salayea District in Lofa County.

The late Clinton served for 46 years in the field of education, ranging from instructor, District Education Officer to Regional Education Officer for Lofa, Bong and Nimba counties.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the trophy was donated by the children of the late Clinton, while the second place trophy was named in memory of the late chief Selley Dorbor of Workor-Bu Clan in Voinjama District, Lofa County.

Chief Dorbor was also respected for his unbiased judgments, sensitivity and ability to resolve conflicts in the district.

Although he had no formal education, Chief Dorbor attached strong value to education and was able to educate dozens of young people, including children of less privileged parents and relatives.

The second trophy was donated by one of the sons of Chief Selley Dorbor, Stephen B. Dorbor, who is the current President of the Voinjama Multilateral High School Alumni Association.
