KAKATA, June 16 (LINA) - The Townships of Borlorla and Cinta in Margibi County have received a number of hand pumps from a rubber producing firm in the area.

The communities to benefit from the hand pump project include Massaquoi Town, Ansa Town, Barclay Farm and Flomo Town..

According to the Liberia News Agency, the General Manager of Salala Rubber Corporation, Nicolas Bergerot, who performed the dedicatory ceremony, assured that his company will continue to positively engage all communities within and around its concession area.

Mr. Bergerot further assured that his company will focus on those ventures that will bring transformation to the people of Gibi District, a part of Margibi County where the SRC operates.

In separate remarks, the Commissioner of Cinta Township, William Juyle, and the Commissioner of Borlorla Township, James Weetol, thanked SRC for identifying with their citizens by ensuring that their needs are met.

They said providing safe drinking water for their citizens was a worthwhile undertaking, and called on other companies operating in the county to emulate the good example of the SRC.
