VOINJAMA, June 18 (LINA) - The Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Dr. J. Mills Jones, has donated L$300,000 to the administration of the Lofa County Community College (LCCC) in Voinjama City, Lofa County.

Presenting the amount Tuesday on behalf of Dr. Mills Jones in Voinjama, Cllr. Joseph Jallah said the money is in fulfillment of Dr. Jones’ social commitment in supporting less fortunate students at the College, as they strive to attain higher education.

Receiving the amount on behalf of the administration of the LCCC, Dean of Students James Sallay commended Dr. Jones for the gesture and promised that the amount would be used for the intended purpose.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the CBL Governor made a similar donation to the LCCC several months ago as assistance to the students.
