ROBERTSPORT, June 24 (LINA) -The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Grand Cape Mount County branch is expected to deploy 75 volunteers trained in the prevention of the deadly Ebola virus in three districts in the county.

This was disclosed by the LNRCS Field Officer Konah Paul in an interview with the Liberia News Agency (LINA) Grand Cape Mount County correspondent on Monday in Robertsport.

She said the volunteers will be deployed in the districts of Tewor, Porkpa and Gola Konneh, which are on the border with Sierra Leone where an outbreak was reported recently.

According to Madam Paul, the volunteers will carry out Ebola prevention education in towns and villages so that the citizens will be aware of preventive measures.

The Red Crosser urged citizens of the county to cooperate with the volunteers and respect all the measures that will be given them to halt the spread of the virus.
