Mr. Anderson was elected on white ballot Sunday in Harper during the party’s primary.
The businessman was earlier elected by the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) last month, defeating Representative Bhofal Chambers 28-4 votes during the CDC’s primary in Harper, Maryland County.
That result was, however, overturned reportedly by the CDC election committee, making Chambers winner of the primary.
