Senator Urges Young Liberians To Prepare For Future

MONROVIA, July 20 (LINA) - Gbarpolu County Senator Armah Jallah has challenged Liberian youths to adequately prepare themselves to move the development process of Liberia forward.

Senator Jallah observed that the development of Liberia is critical to ensuring that the nation joins other countries within the sub-region in the march forward too progress and growth after a protracted civil conflict.
The Gbarpolu lawmaker made the statement Saturday at the sixth graduation exercises of the George and Logan High School on Warren Street in central Monrovia.
He emphasized that the youths should be determined to pursue their education, despite the challenges confronting the nation’s educational system at the moment.
He observed that Liberia will remain behind among developing countries if Liberian youths fail to prioritize education to ensure the development of the country in the next ten years.
Senator Jallah stressed that it is about time that Government gives priority to the education sector which is responsible for developing the human resource capacity of the nation.
The Gbarpolu Senator was represented at the graduation program by the Director of the Legislature’s Information Service (LIS), McCarthy Wleh.
