ROBERTSPORT, June 28 (LINA) -The proprietor of the Pig farm in Fanti Town, Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County, Mr.Robert Honomah, has urged Liberians to invest in the pig production industry so that Liberia will be on par with other countries in the sub-region.

He said Liberia is the only country in West Africa where much interest is not shown in pig farming.

Mr. Honomah commonly called (POP), made the statement recently in Robertsport in an interview with the Liberia News Agency (LINA) Grand Cape Mount County correspondent.

He expressed his management’s willingness to offer training to people who want to invest in the pig industry.

He urged people wishing to engage in business to refrain from dishonesty, corruption and back-biting, noting that they can only succeed in their business ventures if they refrain from these vices.

The businessman said his pig farm has enough pigs to meet the demand of buyers in the country.

He is also encouraging Liberian women to invest in pig farming in an effort to compete with other women in the sector.
