MONROVIA, August 1 (LINA) -The Ministry of Health says it has begun fumigating government ministries and agencies in the country s part of measures to fight the Ebola disease.

Disclosing this to the Liberia News Agency Friday, the Supervisor for Disinfection at the ministry, Mr. Wataku Kortimai, said 30 government ministries and public corporations around the country have been targeted for disinfection.

Kortimai said though the virus has no cure, it can be contained by the use of disinfectants, and called on all Liberians to abide by preventive measures put in place by the Health Ministry.

He said the teams of disinfectors have been dispatched to various parts of Monrovia to ensure that the targeted areas are sprayed.

Kortimai said the ministry’s primary concern now is the health of citizens and residents, which requires a serious fight against the deadly Ebola virus that is ravaging the country.
