MONROVIA, February 12 (LINA) -The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Administrator, Helen Clark, is expected to arrive in Liberia tomorrow as part of visits to the three countries most affected by the Ebola virus from February 13-16.

A UNDP release indicated that Clark’s visit to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone is to affirm the UN’s continued commitment to addressing the ongoing crisis, and support for the recovery process.

During her visit to Liberia, the UNDP Administrator will hold discussions with President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the UN family, Ebola Incident Management System and the donor community, the release said.

According to the release, Clark is expected to participate in a signing ceremony of a Social Safety Net Cash Transfer Program between UNDP and the Government of Liberia through the Ministries of Gender, Children and Social Protection and Internal Affairs, scheduled to take place in Bomi County.

The release stated that Clark is expected to hold a joint Press Conference with Liberian Leader Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at the end of her visit on February 16, 2015.
