MONROVIA, March 24 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has dismissed with immediate effect, Mr. Alpha Ahmed Bah, Deputy Minister for Industry at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

According to an Executive Mansion press release, Mr. Bah was dismissed for ascribing unto himself unauthorized functions and actions at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry contrary to his functions and mandate as Deputy Minister for Industry.

President Sirleaf thanked Mr. Bah for his service to the country during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavors.
