ZWEDRU, March 25 (LINA) - Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) Governor J. Mills Jones has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to encouraging financial growth amongst Liberians, especially rural dwellers.

Governor Jones noted that rural dwellers can be assured that they will always have access to loan from the CBL as long as they are committed to repaying on time for others to also benefit from the scheme.

He gave the assurance in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County recently when hundreds of business people and other citizens of the county lauded him and his administration for helping to better their lives through the granting of loans.

The Central Bank Governor pointed out that the timely pay back of loans will boost the already fast-moving economy and will enable massive production in the country instead of concentrating only in Monrovia.

Meanwhile, Jones has urged young people to respect for the rule of law and elderly people if they are to take over the mantle of leadership when called upon.
