MONROVIA, April 28 (LINA) –President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has expressed satisfactions over the level of work being done on the Ellen J. Sirleaf Housing Estate in Ben Town, Marshall, Margibi County.

According to a National Housing Authority (NHA) press release issued here Monday, the Liberian leader made the statement during a visit to the construction site.

President Sirleaf was accompanied to the construction site by NHA Managing Director Samuel Wlue, who she commended for bringing the much needed energy to the NHA.
The EJS Housing Estate construction is part of the NHA’s 5,000 Affordable Housing Units, Home Ownership and Mortgage Program formulated in 2012 in collaboration with the Housing Sector Working Group, the release said.

It said upon completion of the 50 units of the EJS Housing Estate as planned, the units will be turned over to mortgagees who were vetted, qualified and title deeds presented to them.

Construction work on the EJS Housing is expected to be completed in two months.
