(LINA) - The visiting District Governor of District 403 A2 Lions Club International is expected to break grounds for a10-bedroom structure in Brewerville to

relocate the blind and visually impaired, presently located on LPRC road, Gardnersville.

The construction is being undertaken by the Cape Mesurado Lions Club.

Visiting Lion Diamilatou S. Aka-Anghui will also inspect the ongoing construction of an elementary school in Fendell, Montserrado County and the construction of a computer laboratory on the AME University Campus on Camp Johnson Road, undertaken by the Greater Monrovia Lions Club.

According to a release, Lion Anghui, who arrives in Liberia Tuesday, May 26, from Ivory Coast as guest of Lions Clubs of Liberia for a three-day mission, is expected to be met on arrival at the Roberts International Airport by officials and members of the Lions Clubs of Liberia.

The release recalled that during the upsurge of the Ebola disease, Lions Club International through Medico Lions Club of France donated to Liberia two 40-foot containers containing mattresses and beds for hospital, examination tables, gowns, surgical tunics, hygienic gloves, hoods, glasses, clothing and other medical supplies, including an ambulance.

The Lions Club is the biggest service organization around the World with a membership of 1.36 million in 210 countries, volunteering its efforts, time and resources to serve humanity.
