(LINA)-Gbarpolu County District Number 2 Representative Malai Gbogar has challenged citizens of the county to take the lead in the development of their county.

She reminded them that the Government alone cannot do everything while they sit idly and do nothing to help themselves.

Speaking to reporters Tuesday upon her return from the area, the Gbarpolu County Lawmaker noted that to foster development in the county the youth including motorcyclists, were encouraged to get actively involved in the building of their own roads, noting that the area is a difficult terrain to travel due to the lack of motor roads.

She disclosed that during the Ebola crisis, the Legislative Caucus of the county identified with the citizens by providing them anti- Ebola materials and cautioning them to abide by preventive measures outlined by health authorities.
