challenged young people to take their education seriously and prepare themselves for future challenges.
He told the youths that if they want to participate in the Red Cross voluntary program, they must be prepared educationally.
Mendimasa proffered the challenge at the weekend when the LNRCS Grand Cape Mount County chapter launched its 2015 membership drive in the provincial capital Robertsport.
In his keynote address, Mendimasa said the time has come for youths of the county to utilize the Red Cross voluntary program to enhance their status.
The membership drive was launched by the County Inspector, Mr. Eric Pinney who deputized for the acting County Superintendent, Tenneh S. Kpadebah over the weekend in Robertsport.
In his launching statement, Pinney cautioned the citizens to become voluntary members of the society so that together they can build a strong Red Cross chapter in the county.
He said for the chapter to make headway, the citizens should desist from vices that have the propensity to undermine the progress of the society in the county.
