Pastor Josiah Negbe also urged the students to draw closer to God and be honest in their academic pursuits, instead of resorting to foul play to pass public tests.
The Liberian prelate made the call at the Global Worldwide Ministry in Voinjama Saturday during a special prayer service his church held for students across Lofa County.
Pastor Negbe reminded the congregation that no human endeavor can succeed without God’s intervention.
He told the students that the prayer service is just the beginning of the journey into real life, and encouraged them to be hard working, respectful and to submit to the word of God, if they should succeed in life.
He further challenged the students to preserve themselves as worthy vessels that can be used by God in ensuring a wholesome functioning society.
