(LINA) -The National Traditional Council of Liberia (NTCL) Grand Gedeh Branch has begun massive preparation for a cultural festival to enlighten young people

about positive practices to respect and uphold in their communities.

Accordingly, stakeholders, including the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism are being contacted to plan the festival, according to NTCL Executive Secretary Peter Garwo.
He regretted that a lot is being lost that the young people need to know about their cultural heritage and distinguish the differences whenever they travel to other countries, something that could make them proud of their values.

The festival, whose date Garwo did not disclosed, will feature mask dancers, traditional dancers, arts and crafts, with participants from across the county.

Prizes will be awarded in various categories during the festival, Gzrwo said.
