(LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has called on five recently-commissioned senior government officials to be strong, courageous, honest and respectful of

all, but “take disrespect from no one.”

The Liberian leader made the statement over the weekend when she officially commissioned three newly-appointed and confirmed Cabinet members and two Ambassadors of Liberia to the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia respectively.

According to an Executive Mansion release, those commissioned were Mr. George Werner, Minister of Education; Dr. Bernice Dahn, Minister of Health and Mr. William Gyude Moore, Minister of Public Works.

Others were Mr. Jarjar M. Kamara, Ambassador to Sierra Leone and Dr. Brahima Diakity Kaba, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Performing the ceremony, President Sirleaf challenged the newly-commissioned officials to assume their new roles with a sense of dedication and set achievable goals that will make them good examples as Dr. Walter Gwenigale.
