This was disclosed by the head of the National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia (NATJL) Grand Gedeh County branch Thursday in a press release.
NATJL Grand Gedeh County branch head, P. Shad Dweh, said Magistrate Neoh died at a clinic in Accra, Ghana after a protracted illness.
According to Dweh, Magistrate Neoh who was flown to Accra for medical check-up few months ago died on September 27 this year.
The NATJL release which did not say when the magistrate’s body will be flown back home, indicated that funeral services will be announced after consultation with his family and the government. He attributed the delay in doing so to the current restriction on public gathering occasioned by the Ebola outbreak.
In a related development, a power saw operator of the Geeblo Logging Company identified as Kadafi Tarwo, has died while carrying out his task.
Eyewitnesses told LINA that Mr. Tarwo died instantly when a branch from a tree he was felling in the forest between Pynes Town and Putu fell on him.
