TUBMANBURG, July 16 (LINA) – Montserrado County District # 12 Representative, Saah Joseph, has donated assorted medical equipment valued at over US$50,000 to the government hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

Presenting the equipment recently, Joseph said the donation was intended to help address the lack of equipment at the hospital following an assessment he did, especially during the Ebola outbreak in the county.

Joseph noted that the items, including Personnel Protection Equipment (PPEs) and drugs, are aimed at improving the capacity and service delivery at the hospital, and disclosed that such donations will continue across the country.

Receiving the donation, the administrator of the hospital Davidson Rogers lauded Representative Joseph for the gesture, noting that the donation is the first to the hospital since the end of the Ebola outbreak in the county.
