According to the Chief of Protocol of Liberia, Rufus Neufville, the projects which were carried out in all eight districts of the county, will be dedicated by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as part of the independence celebration in the county.
Grand Kru and Sinoe Counties in southeastern Liberia are co-hosting this year’s independence celebration.
Disclosing this Thursday at the Ministry of Information weekly press briefing, the Chief of Protocol named the projects as schools, health facilities, guest houses, police depots, administration buildings and other public facilities.
Neufville commended the Grand Kru County administration under the leadership of Superintendent Elizabeth Dempster for the successful implementation of the projects.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Protocol has called on citizens of the county to turn out en masse during the celebration as it is government’s way of reconciling its citizens and making them form part of activities of government.
