He made the statement at the official dedication of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court in Barclayville, Grand Kru County on Saturday. The court is one of several projects dedicated by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as part of projects undertaken for Liberia’s 168th Independence celebration.
Chief Justice Korkpor, however, pointed out that his administration will build annexes at the court which will serve as additional offices for the staff since the newly-constructed court does not meet the magisterial complex target of the judiciary.
Meanwhile, President Sirleaf has thanked Chief Justice Korkpor and members of Supreme Court for constructing the court, which happens to be the first since the creation of the county.
“We have decided to take the government to the people every independence celebration; the building of this court in Barclayville is one of the ways we intend to achieve this and we hope the people of Grand Kru can make proper use of it,” the President concluded.

BARCLAYVILLE, July 27 (LINA) – Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia, Francis Korkpor, has cautioned judges across the country to be impartial in the dispense of justice.
