GBARNGA, August 4 (LINA) - The Bong County Chapter of the Liberian National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) has donated several non-food items to Ebola survivors and care-givers in Taylor Town, Yellequelleh District in Bong County.

Taylor Town was one of the hardest-hit communities during the Ebola crisis in the county.
In an interview with the Liberia News Agency (LINA), LNRCS Bong County trainer Eric Tengbeh said 30 survivors and care-givers benefited from the gesture.
Tengbeh named mattresses, cooking utensils, shower slippers, laundry soap, lappers and hand washing buckets and women clothing as some of the items donated.
Beneficiaries lauded the Red Cross for identifying with them and called on other humanitarian organizations to extend their humanitarian assistance to them.
They also said the Ebola crisis affected their faming activities and appealed to other non-governmental organizations in the business of agriculture to help them with seeds and farming implements.
