Hands of Hope is a development partner of the United Methodist Church (UMC) in Liberia.
Making the presentation in Gbarnga Tuesday, the Country Director of the group, Rev. Cooper Mondolo, said the donation was part of efforts by the organization to promote quality education in the country.
Rev. Mondolo said the UMC in Liberia remains committed to working with the BCTC to enhance its quest to provide quality education to students enrolled there.
Receiving the books on behalf of the administration of the College, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Joseph Giddings, described the donation as timely, noting that it will go a long way in realizing the dream of the institution.
Giddings assured Rev. Mondolo and the Hands of Hope family that the books will be used for the intended purpose and pledged the BCTC administration’s commitment to positively impact the education sector of the country.
The books include 2013 editions of Adult Nursing, Medical Surgical, Nursing Care of Children and Medical New Born Nursing, among others.
