(LINA) - The Ministry of Education (MoE) has started a four-day ‘Training of Trainers’ Workshop for school administrators of the Bomi County School System in

Tubmanburg.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Tuesday in Tubmanburg, County Education Officer J. Seo Davis said the workshop brings together school administrators from 18 schools as well formal education stakeholders in the county.

The CEO said the workshop is intended to sharpen the skills of the participants in Psychological First Aid and Pedagogy to increase productivity and provide quality education for students.

He indicated that following the close of the workshop on September 5, the participants are expected to train over 250 unqualified teachers who are providing services in various schools across the county for six days.

Davis told LINA that the training is being sponsored by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
