(LINA) – Travelers along the Ganta-Harper highway are appealing to the Ministry of Public Works to rehabilitate the highway to enhance trade and commerce as

well as safety in the southeastern region.

The travelers told the Liberia News Agency in Saclepea recently that they were finding it difficult to get to their respective destinations due to the deplorable
condition of the road.

They said business activities have also been disrupted as a result of the situation and its impact on commercial and other vehicles.

They said while it used to take them less than a day to reach their destinations, it now takes nearly two days to get to destinations like Zwedru, Fish Town and Harper.
