Trade and Investment Forum slated for Wednesday the 16th of September 2015, a preparatory meeting to finalize what is promised to be a success story in attracting potential foreign investors has taken place with the stakeholders expressing optimism to attract a huge participants from the business communities across the United States.

 

Speaking at the well attended meeting today at the Liberian Consulate in New York, the Executive Director of the National Investment Commission George Gyude Wisner II, said the Forum will afford the Government of Liberia   the opportunity to show case its investment portfolio and to attract more foreign investors . He explained that such a move has become necessary not only for economic growth and development, but to create positive climate for the overall improvement of the lots of the Liberian people.

The Liberian Vice President His Excellency Joseph Boakai who arrived in the US Monday ahead of the Liberian delegation is expected to deliver a keynote address at the Forum to put in perspectives the investment opportunities and challenges confronting the country.    

The Forum will also be addressed by a number of Government officials from the both Liberia and the United States as well as the private investors.
