He stated that the lack of technocrats in River Gee, for example, is impeding its socio-economic development, noting that graduates of the county should be willing to take up assignments there to propel its growth and development.
The River Gee County lawmaker made the statement recently at a fundraising program for the River Gee University of Liberia Students Association held on the main campus of the university on Capitol Hill.
He noted that the county being a new one is in dire need of basic social services such as electricity, pipe-borne water, hospitals and major schools, including universities, to attract others to take up assignment there.
Senator Jaye emphasized that every citizen of the county should rally together to improve the human development in the technical sector to transform the county and Liberia at large.
